Diploma 4 builds further on the research on the transformations of the Coast of Europe. Continuing the engagement with real-world issues, the work will combine architecture and urbanism to re-think the structures of cohabitation in Europe at a time of profound institutional and economic change. Uncertainty and non-determinism will set out a field of potentials for the transformation of the material spaces of contemporary Europe. When architecture acts to transform the city, it challenges the relations between individuals and their spaces of operation.
